Douglas David is a member of the Hoosier Salon, Indianapolis and the Indiana Plein Air Painters. A graduate of the Herron School of Art/Indiana University, Mr. David has exhibited many times and received numerous awards for his paintings. His teaching includes the Herron School of Art where he was awarded a TERA (Teaching Excellence Award), Glen /Arbor, MI Art Association, and The Studios of Key West, FL. Students will be given a supply list.  Class will cover basic principles of oil painting with regard to landscape painting.  Basics will be covered in morning inside and afternoon will take place out side painting en plein air.  Composition, massing in, building form, lights and shadows, and developing atmospheric distance will be covered.  Maximum of 10 students. Pre-registration required. All fees due at time of registration.
