Participants will create life size puppets from found and recycled materials.  At the conclusion of the workshop participants will parade around the Martinsville Court House Square as part of the Fall Festival Customer Appreciation Night.

Adzooks Puppeteers (and Martinsville residents), Robin Lee Holm and David Wright present around 250 shows and workshops to about 20,000 participants each year. Traveling throughout Indiana and nationwide, they have been bringing puppetry to all ages since 1995.  David holds a degree from Wabash College where he studied education before pursuing a career in puppetry.  Robin holds a degree in theatre from Indiana University and has been a puppeteer since 1976.

 A sampling of past clients includes: Indianapolis Museum of Art, The Detroit Institute of Arts, Chicago Cultural Center, Great Arizona Puppet Theatre, Indianapolis Children’s Museum, and the Indiana State Museum. They are winners of the Young Audiences of Indiana Arts Powering Education Award
