Pam Hurst Bio Pam has had a lifelong love of jewelry. Along with her sisters, she started stringing mothers’ jewelry in 2002. Their work became popular and they formed the company PBJ Originals. Pam loves the hunt to find unique and interesting beads that speak to her, and then she creates a unique, one of a kind, piece of jewelry from them. Branching out from just stringing, Pam has taken classes in lampworking and developed a fascination for glass beads. Still new to bead making, Pam hopes to utilize her studio to create interesting lampwork glass beads. Pam has also incorporated some metalsmithing recently into her abilities. Pam has had her jewelry featured in catalogs, boutiques and shows. She has won several awards and prizes with her pieces. Pam is a member of the Indiana Bead Society, Indiana Society of Lampwork and Glass Artist, and is a Self-Representing Artist in Jewelry Design. Personally, Pam worked as an Industrial Engineer for 15 years before staying home with her children. She holds an MBA and volunteers with several organizations in the community. She is president of the local Tri Kappa philanthropic sorority, whose purpose is to promote Charity, Culture and Education in the community. Tri Kappa supports the Hoosier Salon and awards fine arts scholarships.
