The newly renovated Martinsville Art Sanctuary is the centerpiece of
downtown Martinsville’s arts and entertainment district. This unique and
sophisticated setting, enhanced by the Sanctuary’s art exhibitions, is
an ideal event venue for weekend and evening cocktail receptions,
business meetings, club and social events. The 3,500 square foot event
facility accommodates gatherings for up to 200 guests.

Gallery & Workshops
The Art Sanctuary features two large exhibition spaces which serve as art
galleries. Each month, we feature new works in a variety of mediums.
Interested in learning more about a topic like painting or pottery? We
regularly present workshops for learning new skills or brushing up on old ones.
Check our website calendar for upcoming classes. And remember that many of the
studio artists give individual lessons too. |
Art Sanctuary wall space
As an
alternative to leasing a studio, you can also consider leasing wall space at Art
Sanctuary for displaying your art. Put your art in front of our visitors at a
lower cost.
Wall space is available for 2-D art and display cases are
available for 3-D art to rent to any member of the Art Sanctuary Art
Association. Rental walls and display cabinets rent for a cost per linier
ft. rate. A three month lease is required to initiate the commitment, but,
thereafter, is a month-to -month agreement with one month advance notice to
vacate the wall.
